Ways to Pay

SNAP: run your SNAP/EBT (food stamps) card (from any state!) at the Market Manager booth, and you will receive $1 tokens that can buy any food grocery item (produce, meat, coffee, bread, etc.). Excludes alcohol and ready-to-eat hot prepared food items.

Double Up Food Bucks: we will match your SNAP/EBT dollars 1:1, up to $10. That means when you run your EBT card for $10 at the Manager booth you will receive $10 in SNAP tokens, plus $10 in Double Up Food Bucks coupons. Buy $20 of groceries for the price of $10! Double Up Food Bucks can purchase fresh, frozen, or dried fruit, vegetables, mushrooms, beans, nuts, and edible plant starts without added salts, sugars, or oils.

WIC & Senior Farm Direct Nutrition Program (FDNP) Vouchers: eligible senior citizens will get their FDNP vouchers in the mail, and WIC families receive them through our local WIC department. FDNP vouchers can buy whole, fresh fruits, veggies, mushrooms, and herbs. Make sure to spend them before they expire at the end of November.

Debit and Credit cards: we used to run your debit/credit cards at the Manager booth in exchange for $5 tokens, but decided to pause that during COVID to reduce touch points as much as possible. Some vendors are able to accept debit/credit cards directly; check out our payment options information page to see which vendors can take cards. It’s a good idea to bring a little cash to market with you just incase.
